DAMN! I mean, DARN. Someone has beaten me to my exhibit. I’ve been meaning to do a themed exhibit inspired by the songs of Tom Waits, but artist Cavallaro has beaten me to the punch. You may have heard of him, he’s the guy that covered a hotel room with melted cheese a few years back. Well he topped himself this time and created Chocolate Jesus. Of course he has all kinds of reasons why he did it (Chocolate Easter Bunny Irony, etc.) But I really think Tom Waits’ song “Chocolate Jesus” was the inspiration. CNN even played the video of the song after doing the story. Had to laugh. I wonder if Tom will sue?
